As a conservative Republican, I think that cartoon is quite funny. Because it's true. That's what they're saying, basically. While I am extremly dissapointed in the Republican leadership in Washington, D.C. and their inability to deal with government spending, I would remind everyone that I have serious doubts about the Democrats doing better here. I think it's just a systemic problem in Washington, D.C. with both parties. I know some of you might say, "Bill Clinton never let it get this far out of control." I would simply say that while it would appear that Clinton came out looking like a fiscal conservative, because the rate of spending was certainly not this high during his term, the fact is he was working with a Republican Congress for the most part. That prevented anything from getting done. Quite frankly, that is when I was truly the happiest.

Conservatives will just never get over the Clinton thing huh? Just can't admit that he did a good job.

This Congress has spent more money than Clinton or any Democrat could dream of spending.

So I have to say that I find it interesting that according to your blog you are supporting Mark Green for governor, one of the people that helped pile up this huge debt.
