Will Tommy Run for Governor This Year?

I think not.

Share your thoughts in the comments, below.

I think he is tempted to run, and that the poll numbers are quite enticing, but that in the end, he'll back Mark Green.

I think it would be a huge mistake for him to run for governor, but I think there's a small chance he'll run for Senate. Small, but a chance.

Could this all be part of an elaborate plan to have Thompson boost Mark Green? Show just how popular Thompson is, and how much he wants Doyle out, and then have him ultimately say that Green is the best chance to take Doyle out? That would make Mark Green look pretty good in the end by giving a lot more attention to Thompson's endorsement of him.

If Anonymous is right then Green's prayer is answered because he is going to lose otherwise.

Run, Tommy, run!

What an insult this would be to the wing-nut Republicans now in control in both houses.

Imagine this -- a Republican Governor who would veto the stupid cloning bill, the bill to let pharmacists not dispense birth control pills, etc.

He may choose not to run if for no other reason than to avoid having to deal with those cretins!

If Tommy got into the race, I think we'd finally have some excitement in this race.
