Sign up to be an Organ Donor
As he notes on his blog, Kevin (Lakeshore Laments) Binversie's father needs a heart transplant. Please keep their family in your prayers.
Their situation serves as a reminder of the importance of signing up to allow your organs to be donated upon your death.
According to the Department of Health and Human Services, here's all it takes:
- Make Your Wish to be an Organ Donor Known
- Declare your wish on your driver's license.
- Include donation in your advance directives, will, and living will.
- Tell your family. They can be your advocate should you become a donor candidate.
- Tell your physician, faith leader, and friends.
- Complete a donor card and carry it in your wallet.

Greeting from Seattle.
I would be willing to donate my liver, but after last night, I think it looks a great deal like Larry Hagman's first one.

My usual response when the topic of organ donation is raised is to mention the time I donated a piano to the church, but I am in fact on record as being available for harvesting come such time as I no longer need the stuff.
Cripes Fraley, you're such a whore. It's obvious you're being paid off by the organ-harvesting bigwigs to push their agenda. Do you even check your sources? Did they offer up a free kidney to write this post?
Sorry...after reading your anon comments, I just wanted to be part of the fun.
