What do most of these organizations have in common?

1) Many of them directly rely on tax dollars or represent individuals entities that do.

2) They know that the TPA would successfully reduce taxation and spending, thereby reducing their 'revenues.'

I should note that the opponents of the TPA and those of us who support it have something in common as well.

We are hoping to keep more of our hard-earned money... and they are fighting to keep more of our hard earned money as well.

And which of those organizations do you suggest we pitch under the bus?

Public health?

Citizen's Utility Board?

The Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin? There you go. Lot's of little towns make do with volunteers. We can shift revenue away from professional firefighters. Most of their time is spent waiting anyway.

The list of organizations which support the TPA is shorter, I'm sure. Would you please publish that list so we can speculate about their motivations?

Updated list could include the growing # of Republican legislators, the Wisconsin realtors and the Madison Chamber of Commerce

This thing dies in the Assembly.

And Then we wonder why Wisconsin is a Tax hell.

Same old Shat even mention you might try to hold the line on taxes and all the usual subjects start screaming like mashed cats.

Hell TPA dosent even try to CUT taxes it only holds the line on the growth of taxes. It is amazing how many people in this state have no problem taking money from their fellow citizens.

I bet we would be amazed how many of these organizations could suddenly learn to live on less tax dollars if they were actually forced to.

But this being Wisconsin I doubt we will ever know, the taxes will keep going up and sooner or later they will drive a couple of big employers out of state and all the usual subjects will whine how Big Buisness is sticking it to the poor workers of Wisconsin.
