Take Back the 8th Rally

The state Democratic Party is hosting a "Take Back the 8th Rally" at the Brown County Library in Green Bay a day in advance of Vice President Dick Cheney's fundraiser visit a week from today.

Since 1972 (34 years) Democrats have held the 8th congressional district exactly twice, two terms totaling four years.

In honor of their efforts:

Herb Kohl is hosting a "Take Back the NBA Championship" rally at the Bradley Center on Wednesday.

Frank Boyle is sponsoring a "Take Back My Relevancy" rally at the Inn on the Park at 4:00 pm today.

Lee Holloway is sponsoring a "Take Back My Integrity" rally at the Milwaukee County Courthouse on Thursday.

If it turns out Holloway didn't do anything wrong, where does that leave you?

Well, anonymous, what's your definition of right and wrong? Is it right to deny tennants heat on the coldest days of the year? Is it right to have deputies kick out a member of the public from a public hearing? Is it right to accept more than $160,000 for the rent and sale of a house that was never rented or sold? I continue to believe he should not be my County Board chair, but yes, I look forward to the outcome of the ethics case as well. Now if Holloway would quit stonewalling...

I see. So, its not about the ethics charges. its about every scrap of nonsense you can thing of to throw at the guy. So, of course, you just take as unquestionable fact that he's a bad guy, regardless of the facts or what gets proved.

Although I like the fact that you suddenly take as gospel everything you read in that rag, the journal sentinel.
