Stop the Stop Snitching Movement
As I mentioned yesterday...
It's time for a new attitude in Milwaukee.

- Schwartz reiterated the department's belief that people in the area have information on the boys' disappearance but have not come forward.
- Family and friends of Raheim Patrick, the 15-year-old boy who was attacked at a bus stop and later died, said they could think of no reason why anyone would want to harm the teen, according to MPS officials who met with his mother and others Thursday night.
- During the robbery, which lasted about two minutes, four customers came and went, said Anne E. Schwartz, department spokeswoman. None has come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call (414) 935-7360 or anonymously at (800) 78-CRIME.
The Respect Kampaign is more than a grammatical farce. It's a blight on the city that should be repudiated at every turn.

See Fraley, this is your problem. You like to Screel against something but carefully avoid any discussion of why a problem exists.
Again --why do certain parts of the community not deal with the cops better than they do?
Well, anonymous, since I have the problem, why don't you share your take with the rest of us...
Well, since I am not the one randomly bloviating into cyber space its not really my responsibility.
Having said that, it is clear that decades of history have created a relationship of real distrust between law enforcement and the central city. It would seem to me that a view that one does not call the police is based on experience. The question is how that gets changed.
Nice circular logic. Certain parts of the community do not deal with the cops better than they do ecaus decades of history have created a relationship of real distruct?
What a load.
Even you can't explain why.
And, regardless of WHY...the fact that anyone doesn't call the police when they have information about a shooting or a missing child is outrageous and inexcusable
I am not suggesting I have the answer. But to declare it outrageous and consider the issue closed is just not helpful or interesting.
As I understand you, you disagree because my suggestion was a "load" whatever that means. Is it just that everyone in this piece of the community is "outrageous"? Is it genetic?
Hey Fraley, if you wanna change something, at least pretend to want to understand it. Any fool can say, "this should not be this way." OK, its outrageous and inexeusable, blah blah blah. The hard part is why it is and how it can be changed.
Do you really botther with the blog just to say "hey! i don't like that!" or do you want to participate in and encourage thought. I mean they don't call the cops and that's bad. duh. who needs a blog for that? Why? How does it change?
There is no Stop Snitching movement.
The phrase means widely different things to different people.
