Scott Walker Radio Ads
The Walker campaign has taken to the airwaves.
You can hear their ad at www.ScottWalker.org
Despite having the Titanic/Irish music in the background that I hate, I like the concept of the ad. Scott talking directly to the voters.
Tactically, it was smart to get out ahead of Green and Doyle.
The campaign won't go on the record regarding the extent of the buy. Smart strategy. Let the Green Team do the legwork to see how much they are spending and where.
My guess would be it's a buy of approximately $10,000 running on stations in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay and maybe one or two other markets. That's significant enough to make news and an impact without draining the coffers in March.
Plus, they figure they'll get a bigger bang for their buck if MSM and blogs pick up on it.

I think it's definately time that this race heats up. There are a lot of differences between Mark Green and Scott Walker. While Mark Green has been part of the fiscal crisis in Washington, D.C. with federal deficits climbing past $400 billion a year, Scott Walker has been balancing budgets without tax increases in a politically hostile environment.
Republicans will be faced with a clear choice this September.
All Mark Green has done in this campaign is told us what he's done, whether it's in the legislature or in Washington, D.C.
On the other hand, you have Scott Walker, who is telling us what he's going to do as it pertains to ethics, property taxes, education, etc.
I don't know about you, but I want to support a candidate that looks to the future, not the past.
Scott Walker has to look at the future because past and present, he has his own problems. Milwaukee County is going bankrupt.
I bet the ads run on Sykes, Belling and maybe Vicki McKenna in Madison.
Fraley, you're wrong. They'll spend less than three grand. Like Milwaukee County, the Walker campaign is nearly bankrupt.
Can a college drop-out be elected Governor?
I don't give a rat’s ass if he has a college diploma. Look what Doyle has done with a Diploma.
Walker has shown that he can be an effective leader, and has told us what he will do. Those are the qualities that I am looking for.
Regardless...Walker/Green...either one will be MUCH better than Diamond Jim.
Walker is a quitter. He couldn't hack school. Couldn't hack the private sector. Can't hack the County job he has.
It is true that voters can decide if and when he moves on but he has no long term vision. He's surrounded by morons like Villa and Hiller and Moreman and Fraley and McCoshen and Scholz and Pfaff and who also couldn't strategerize themselves out of a wet paper bag.
But I do think those clowns at least FINISHED school.
ReElect Doyle '10
Did Walker quit Marquette or flunk out? He has never provided an explanation.
simon blue - Walker tells you what he's going to do but it's all soundbite. None of it is original thought. Green on the otherhand talks about what he's done becuase it proves he is a doer - not a follower or a talking head.
