Team Doyle Needs More than Baseball Spring Training to Feel Optimistic
The poll numbers keep getting worse for Governor Doyle, picked by the Washington Post political blogger as the most vulnerable Democrat governor in the country.
According to the latest Survey
- A majority of men disapprove of the job Jim Doyle is doing (56-38%)
- A majority of men and women age 18 to 34 disapprove of the job Jim Doyle is doing (47-42%)
- A majority of men and women age 35 to 53 disapprove of the job Jim Doyle is doing (51-42%)
- A majority of black men and women age disapprove of the job Jim Doyle is doing (54-40%)
- A majority of Hispanic men and women age disapprove of the job Jim Doyle is doing (71 to 22%)
- A majority of independent men and women disapprove of the job Jim Doyle is doing (48-45%)
Good luck with that.

But he still has 300% of the dead and illegal vote. The question is whether that will be enough to overcome his disadvantage among the living and legal.

According to the latest Survey USA poll [see above link], a majority of Wisconsinites dissaprove of the job George W. Bush is doing as president by 38 to 59 percent.
A majority of MEN AND WOMEN disapprove of the job Bush is doing (41% to 56% and 36% to 61% respectively).
A majority of MEN AND WOMEN OF ALL AGES disapprove of the job Bush is doing (34% to 63%, 41% to 57% and 39% to 58%, respectively).
A majority of AFRICAN-AMERICAN MEN and WOMEN disapprove of the job Bush is doing (19% to 77%).
A majority of HISPANIC MEN AND WOMEN disapprove of the job Bush is doing (39% to 61%).
A majority of INDEPENDENT MEN AND WOMEN disapprove of the job Bush is doing (32% to 64%--a two-to-one margin.
That W is doing a heck of a job--at least as good as Brownie during Hurricane Katrina. Let's congratulate him when he arrives in Wisconsin next week.
