Caved to Soon...

Belling reports on his show that a juror who served on the Supreme Tire Slashing Trial has said that at the time the plea bargain was reached, the jury was split 9-3 toward conviction. Apparently she's told the Milwaukee DA's office that they shouldn't have buckled so fast.

Interesting.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED that McCan't would put party above law.

I'm shocked, too, considering the jury foreman was on WVTV News in Milwaukee last night and attested to the fact that the jury was completely dead-locked. According to her, there were a couple Democrats on the jury who adamantly advocated acquittal, a couple Republicans who adamantly advocated conviction, and the rest in between. Gee, I wonder who Belling had on his show?

And the foreman is not alone in her view of the situation: http://www.jsonline.com/news/metro/jan06/387471.asp.
