Former Rep. Lorge Hired by Doyle Campaign
Today the Doyle campaign revealed the hiring of former State Representative Bill Lorge to assist with campaign communications. He was specifically brought on to help craft the campaign's message through press releases and statements.
Lorge who served in the Wisconsin Assembly from 1989 - 1998 was widely known for his unique writing style that lacked structure and coherence, and included run on sentences, creative use of punctuation, and single line spacing for efficiency.
"What we loved most about Bill's writing style was his ability to ramble on and on about things that almost nobody else understands or cares about, and to leave readers with the impression that he is completely insane or paranoid, or both," said Doyle spokesperson Anson Kaye.
"It's going to be a long and really nasty campaign, and we just wanted to give the media something to smile about. The only caveat we gave Bill was that he needed to leave spaces in between paragraphs, and occasionally between thoughts as well. "
In fact, Lorge's first release for the Doyle campaign was so juvenile that Steve Walters of the Milwaukee Journal actually snorted out loud.

You and Steve King (the "professional" hit man paid by disgraced former Attorney General John Mitchell to beat up his nutty wife, Martha Mitchell) are engaging in an odd strategy -- attempting to tar the Governor with disgraced or incompetent Republicans.
I suppose it is consistent with the general party strategy of painting Doyle as the reincarnation of Tommy G. Thompson, however.
You must mean Bob Dohnal. He's the king of run-on sentences and quirky syntax.
Actually, Deb, it's a pretty good post. I smiled. You just need to point out that this one is the Bull Goose Looney Elvis Lorge and not the Batdung Looney "China Bad" GOP Candidate Lorge.

Deb, anyone who knows anything about wispolitics.com knows that they reformat press releases into a simple text format for their site. You would think that you know this seeing that they sponsor your blog. Always nice to bite the hand that feeds you.
If this was a pdf or a word document, maybe a valid point, but this is wispolitics, not the Doyle campaign.
Once again, bizarre criticism from a bizarre person.
Dear Deb,
Huh?
Dennis York has nothing on you Deb. Good joke.
After seeing this photo, I have totally lost respect for the clown.
WOW! I never knew Lorge was even better looking than Elvis. Herb Kohl has no chance. I'm voting for Lorge for US Senate.
