Gard's silence is golden
Carrie Lynch wants to know what's up with John Gard's "creepy" new ad, in which he doesn't talk.
One of my 8th CD correspondents has a theory. In an e-mail with the subject, "Cate Zeuske runs for Congress," he says:
Gard's new ad on funding disease cures features Cate talking on camera for 30 seconds with Gard standing in the backround --he doesnt say a word --lest he would have to lie.

Not only is Gard silent, but he's got very, very orange make-up skin.
