Actually, the flakjacket and helmet were borrowed from Jim Doyle when his news conference ended in Cottage Grove.
Why does he look like Franz Liebkind, the playwright in "The Producers" ?
actually Xoff if you want to totally correct the current American helmet is a direct decendent of the "coal scuttle" helment worn by german troops in WW1 and WW2 so yes he is wearing a "Nazi" helmet does that make you all feel better
When it was introduced the to replace the steel pot helment the American troops called it the "Fritz" helmet.
