Latest poll silences GOP spin machine

Another day, another poll.

This one, from SurveyUSA, was too good to be true for Jim Doyle.

So good, in fact, that for the first time in recent memory the Republicans failed to put out their press releases trying to spin it their way.

This just goes to show -- as I've been preaching -- how unreliable these polls are. Do you believe Doyle had a 16-point swing in a month? No.

Do you believe that Green, who's only known by half of the people in Wisconsin, is tied with Doyle, as another poll suggested? No.

But that one, at least, was good for some GOP releases. Today there's only silence.

Why do you think this is not a survey to be trusted? I don't disagree but for me "too good to be true" is not enough.

One thing that stood out was how the % of liberal, moderate and conservative was played with. The moderates dropped from 48 last month to 41 this month. Liberals jumped from 14 last month to 21 this month. That would explain the sudden jump for me.
