Jensen taking the team down with him
We've all heard about taking one for the team.
State Rep. Scott Jensen is doing the opposite, insisting on a messy trial that hurts his Republican colleagues more every day.
The Capital Times' headline on David Callender's story asks, "What price to save Jensen?" and says Republicans are furious about all of their dirty laundry being put on public view.
The thing is, it probably won't save Jensen anyway. It will just take everyone else down with him.
Hate to say it (actually love to say it), but I told you so.

Jensen knows mroe than anybody. He knows where all the bodies are burried. If he goes down, in combination with Hurtgen, the party will be in real trouble.
Jensen probably figures his defense will also smear Dems, too, but in the end, he's the one going to jail and leaving his fellow GOP pals in the mud.
I guess he ain't so smart after all.
Well, true to form, self-knowledge and it's cousin, character, evades yet another public servant.
The fist law of fecal redistribution says that most of whatever hits the fan comes straight back at the flinger.
Does anyone else have this image of Sampson straining at the columns of the temple when the hear how Scooter is acting?
His "Scorched Earth" defense has already impugned a state Supreme Court Justice and all of the GOP candidates for governor. The Bubbas want to know if Tommy Thompson is Jensen's next target?
